Mass
A Mass of Christian Burial followed the visitation at 11am Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Saint Martin’s Catholic Church in Loogootee.
Burial
Burial took place in Saint Martin’s Catholic Cemetery, followed by a meal in celebration of her life at 12:30pm in the Church Hall.
Celebration of Life & Big Irish Party
Extended family and friends hosted a "big Irish party” at 4pm Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the American Legion Loogootee Post 120 Country Club (607 Church Street, Loogootee, Indiana).
Buried Where Baptized
Kathy was baptized at St. Martin’s Church in Whitfield and laid to rest at Saint Martin’s Catholic Cemetery. Local parish history traces St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church to 1875 at 520 Whitfield Road and records the parish cemetery as established in 1895. In 2014, St. Martin became part of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Loogootee through a union of several Martin County Catholic communities.
